Our very own Bruce Wall spent his last week involved in not one, but two Southern Rock music video shoots. He helped produce and acted in Candy Coburn's remake of Fire on the mountain. The whole video was shot in Pleasant Shade and Nashville, Tennessee. The video is a tribute to the late George McCorkle of Marshall Tucker fame. The producers Tony Beazley and Bruce Wall wanted to honor their late friend by telling the story in a new way. "We tried to have a piece of George in every scene" Wall said. "If you look close in every scene there is a piece of music history in the shot, guitar, hats, photos, and so on." Tony Beazley is also credited for filming the "jukin with Gene" video. The Video also features Justin McCorkle, son of George McCorkle. "All of the actors were friends or family to George".
The second video Bruce was involved with as an actor. The video is for the Brothers of the Southland release of "Can't You See" featuring Bo Bice. "It was a lot of fun, and I know George would have gotten a kick out of it. I can't wait to see it... "
Watch for both videos this summer and early fall. |
